⎯ My first challenge in the public sector was the Supernova. The organization had never before considered bringing chargers of this magnitude to the public sector. I was given the chance to design a recognizable product that exuded confidence, and served as an iconic street emblem that respected the place it occupied.
The idea behind the architecture, was to create a system of separate power modules that could supply the various amounts of power that each version would require. By doing this, we guarantee both the product's reliability, and the greatest possible experience for users.
The design, which is clean, solid, and monolithic, created by just one line, symbolizes a new electrical era and change. It appears bold, strong, and slender—all voids that we aimed to fill to provide a superior product than the competition.
