⎯ Easily, one of the most enjoyable projects I have had the pleasure of working on. Creating a new facade for the Wallbox Headquarters, was definitely something I wasn’t expecting. Recognising the scale of the job you do, is the most difficult task. The concept is clear: a natural, repeating form that will resemble a dress and be easy to recall. The chance to design a city emblem using the most sexy idea I could come up with. The truth is, you will always be surprised by the simple things.
An organisation such as Wallbox, could not have been founded without the bunch of people that started it, which is symbolised by spheres. Like atoms combining to create a dress, so that you might see a hint of what lay behind. Soon after the building was dressed by the atoms, light was the vital component that allowed the beating of Barcelona's energetic heart to be seen from underneath.
